Bay Remembered - NA

Bay Remembered
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 11" x 14"
Not Available.

Even though it was too cold to be out plein air painting while I was at the beach house, I took some nice photos when it was pretty. It's always a treat to watch a sunset over the water, and I love the variety of colors in the water itself.

Pear Two, 6" x 6"

It rained today, a very wet day, so I was inside, and inside meant painting, so here are a couple that are a bit on the "warm" side because of the indoor lamps.

Exploring Chestertown, MD

This week finds me in Chestertown, MD.
I think it's still considered part of the Eastern Shore, but I could be wrong about that.

A small, very old, quaint, charming town along the Chester River, which flows into the Chesapeake Bay. Most of the houses look like old Georgetown or Williamsburg, to my eye anyway. Colonial.

And the main street, called High Street, is the town shopping area, with galleries, coffee shops, gift shops, a pottery collective, a couple of hotels, a florist, a bakery, a restaurant or two, and even a Dunkin' Donuts. I'm sure much of the business happens during Washington College events, but there is a farmer's market on the green on Saturday mornings.

Chilly and overcast today, not many folks out walking. This leads right down to the dock by the river.
Apartment hunting with my family, while they put me up in an AirBnB, and I learn to be a walker.
You'll start to see some paintings from here ....sooner hopefully rather than later.
