Tomatoes from the Yard - SOLD

Tomatoes from the Yard
Oil on Canvas Panel, 9" x 12"
SOLD at $25 plus $7 shipping.

I've been having fun watching (and eating) the tomatoes growing out in my yard this summer. My models for today came in warm from the sunshine, and as soon as I get this painting posted, are slated for the cutting board, and a nice fat bacon and tomato sandwich, YUM.

....and yes, I'll fix the onion "nose" there. Didn't see it until I took the photo.

Field with Trees - SOLD

Field with Trees
Oil on Canvas Panel, 9" x 12"
SOLD at $20 plus $7 shipping.

Quick study. I am craving sunny open spaces right now. Maybe it's how full the woods are behind my apartment right now. I can't even see the row of townhouses across the little creek bed, and mere peeks of the sky. So I paint open, spacious vistas instead.

Tiny Woods - SOLD

Tiny Woods
Oil on Stretched Canvas, 8" x 8"
SOLD at $25 plus $5 shipping.

This one is little. Sometimes, though, the teeny ones are as hard as the bigger ones. Every stroke counts when it's this small. I had fun with this one, combining the goodness of acrylics underneath the oils, for the sky and the lavender backwoods. Once dry, it doesn't move, and you can paint whatever you want overtop.
